Scientists’ Quotes About Evolution

Dr. Kent Hovind September 7th, 20104 Comments so far

Many make the assertion that evolution must be true because all scientists believe in it. There are, however, many thousands of scientists who do not believe in evolution. Here are quotes from just a few of them.

Do We “Think”?

Eric Hovind September 6th, 201010 Comments so far

While looking up the definition for “Evolution” on Wikipedia, you will see the following sentence: “In chemistry, the term evolution is often used to refer to the production of a gas in a chemical reaction, but a process like natural selection is not involved.”

“I don’t care if I go to Hell.”

Have you ever heard an unbeliever say, “I don’t care if I go to Hell”? I was always taken aback when I would hear that phrase, because all my life I have been brought up in churches that teach about hell, and some preachers described it so vividly that you would have thought they had been there! I knew from a young age that is not a place I would want to go for even one second, let alone for eternity.

If Evolution Is True…

If evolution is true:

  1. You are nothing but stardust that came from a cosmic burp 18 billion years ago.

Learn the Bible: Talk to an Atheist

Eric Hovind September 1st, 201011 Comments so far

If you really want to learn your Bible, a great way is to talk to an atheist. This exercise will force you to know why you believe what you believe so that you can give an answer, just as we are told to do in 1 Peter 3:15. Just a thought, but if you are not sharing your faith, I have to wonder why. Could it be that you are not convinced yourself that it is true? If you really knew the truth, wouldn’t you want to shout it from the rooftops? Come on Christians, we have the truth, now share it!

Where is the standard for deciding right from wrong?

Dr. Kent Hovind August 31st, 201029 Comments so far

What difference does it make whether the evolution story is true? Who cares about creation or evolution? Actually this is one of the most important topics in the world! In my ninety debates with evolutionists, I often ask the simple question, “If evolution is true, how can anyone tell right from wrong?” My opponents never answer the question. Think about it. Make a list of ten things that are wrong, but before you make the list, I want to ask how you decide what is right and wrong. Does Congress decide right from wrong? Should Osama Bin Laden decide right from wrong? Should Adolph Hitler decide right from wrong? Maybe you should decide right from wrong for you and I will decide it for me. In that case, what if I decide it is okay to steal from you? Where is the standard for deciding right from wrong?

My God Can Do ANYTHING!

Eric Hovind August 30th, 201030 Comments so far

It is very unsettling when I hear someone say, “God can do anything.” Is this truly the case? If that is so, then you serve an illogical god that does not exist. Sorry to burst your bubble, but if you want to serve the one true God of the Bible, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, then you are going to have to change your thoughts about who He is.
